White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders will host the daily press briefing from the James S. Brady Briefing Room Thursday afternoon. The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Short of a briefing on Wednesday due to President Donald Trump's travel schedule, Thursday's event is sure to see a dearth of complicated questions.
Earlier in the day Thursday, President Trump signed an executive order pertaining to health care, which is bound to garner a question or two from the Press Corps. Additionally, Trump's divisive remarks during a photo op with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will surely be brought up.
During the photo session, the president posited that “it's frankly disgusting the press is able to write whatever they want to write.”
Tax reform, North Korea, relief efforts in Puerto Rico, the Iran nuclear deal, tensions between POTUS and Tillerson, and tensions between POTUS and Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) are just a few of the hot-button subjects that may be brought up at Thursday's briefing.
